History
Remington was founded in 1921 in Wisconsin; that goes to show they’ve been around for a long time. It takes a lot of effort in perfecting high-quality products for a business to last that long. They started out building electric- and gas-powered saws and drills. In 1954, the company created their first chainsaw and eventually that was followed by the creation of electric chainsaws and pole saws in the 1990s.
More recently, Remington began to add gas trimmers, cultivators and blowers to their product line. This allowed them to expand the kinds of projects that Remington products could be used for. It’s always a good idea to create a wide range of tools that people may need or want, especially if you’re already doing well at the tools you began with.
