Peltophorum is a deciduous, fast-growing Indo-Malayan native. It produces large clusters of fragrant, bright, orange-yellow flowers. It also features large, oblong, bipinnate, dark green leaves. This tree thrives in full sun and sandy soils, but it can also grow in clay soils with good drainage.
